Are you elated to put 2016 behind you convinced 2017 has to be better simply because things can’t get much worse? That was 2011 for me, so when this post showed up as a memory in my Facebook feed this morning, I relived not just the disappointments of 2011, but the faithfulness of God. Seeing the reality of His word lived out in the pages of my testimony encouraged me today as He reminded me of the irrevokable truths He taught me that year. I felt as though the proverbial other shoe kept dropping and dropping when the Lord showed me it was His loving, sovereign hand. I am reposting this today with links to the other two blogs in this series in hopes that it is an encouragement to you this New Year. And my prayer for every one of this is this: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope” (Romans 15:13).Read More
Joseph slept, and the Lord spoke to him in a dream. When aroused from his slumber, he went and did what God told him to do. What is the Lord telling us that we need to wake up, go and do? Maybe He’s stirring in us to believe in Him. To receive the greatest gift of all!Read More
What gifts God word has for us in seeing Joseph handle news of Mary’s virgin pregnancy and thoughtfully consider how he might put her away secretly! We can serve Him without fear, doing the great and mighty things He has for us to do to prepare the way for Jesus Christ!Read More
With God, nothing is impossible. In fact, impossible is His specialty. Will we, like Mary, say to Him: “Let it be to me according to Your word”? Is our impossible preparing us to be an ally in someone else’s impossible?Read More
